Facebook Artist in Residence

Breaking

Using augmented reality to open minds

What we did

Categories

In order to create a contagiously creative work environment, the Facebook Artist in Residence program brings together a range of artists to work and create alongside its employees on campus. When it decided to add an engaging digital component to the program, Facebook partnered with R&R to create its first ever augmented reality piece of artwork. We worked with artist, Adam Friedman, to break down the boundaries between the physical and digital worlds.

The Work

Using vivid colors and captivating digital imagery, employees and visitors can dive into an alternate dimension within a wall mural on Facebook’s Oculus Seattle campus.
