How an AR app helped raise wildlife conservation awareness.
What we did
Two unlikely brands, Busch Beer and iconic arcade game, Big Buck Hunter, were collaborating and presented us with a unique challenge: Develop an exclusive AR web app that lets Busch drinkers scan a code on specially marked cans with their mobile phones to gain access to an exclusive, interactive game that mirrors the arcade game.
Not only did our optimized game feature incredible 3D modeling, it encouraged online sharing and philanthropic interaction – each time players posted their scores on Twitter, Busch donated $1 to the National Forest Foundation. The initial launch drew over 52,000 sessions with an average of four minutes of play time.
